Job summary

Coldspring in Minnesota seeks a supervisor to lead the Face Finishing areas, ensuring quality, cost and delivery targets are met. You will provide technical leadership for finishing applications at the corporate level and drive consistency across facilities.

The role emphasizes safety, process improvements, and coaching for a productive team. 80% on the production floor, 20% in the office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; HS diploma with appropriate experience acceptable.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing/supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to create performance metrics for quality, cost and delivery.
• Knowledge of Face Finishing Operations, capability and maintenance; lean manufacturing discipline.
• Ability to lead and direct people.

Responsibilities

• Identify and eliminate potential safety hazards and issues.
• Provide coaching and direction to Finishing operations to meet quality, delivery and cost expectations.
• Lead Process Changes and ensure completion across Face Finishing and related areas.
• Monitor shop floor activities and address performance issues with employees to improve outcomes.
• Perform quarterly performance appraisals for direct reports.
