Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma with relevant experience acceptable.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing or supervisory roles.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; goal oriented.
• Ability to analyze performance metrics for quality, cost and delivery.
• Knowledge of safety, 5S, TPM, quality, and production work instructions.
• Understand AFE, cost and purchasing systems; lean manufacturing discipline.
• Proven ability to lead and direct people.
• Extensive knowledge of Face Finishing operations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Identify safety hazards and implement fixes.
• Coach Finishing operations to meet quality, delivery and cost goals.
• Lead Process Changes for Face Finishing and related capabilities.
• Monitor daily shop floor activities and resolve performance issues.
• Conduct quarterly performance appraisals for direct reports.
• Lead daily shift meetings and participate in production reviews.
• Ensure training is current and skills are up to date.
• Monitor/Review/Coach on productivity, headcount vs revenue and AR compliance.
