Job summary

Global Finishing Solutions, LLC is seeking an Operations Lead in Osseo, WI to bridge leadership and production. You will lead daily operations, develop employees, solve problems, and ensure safe, high-quality output while driving efficiency.

You will coach teams, coordinate schedules, and champion continuous improvement efforts to deliver on time and within budget. A bachelor’s in a related field and 5+ years of manufacturing leadership are preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business is preferred.
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with leadership responsibilities.
• 2–4 years of leadership experience preferred (lead, trainer, mentor, supervisor).
• Proven ability to motivate teams, build accountability, and maintain a positive work environment.
• Experience planning work, coordinating production activities, and managing changing priorities.
• Strong understanding of safety, quality, and production standards in manufacturing.
• Ability to read schedules, blueprints, work instructions, and production documentation.
• Experience identifying and implementing process improvements that drive results.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with professional conflict resolution.
• Ability to build teamwork across departments, shifts, and areas to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the floor by modeling safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork daily.
• Coordinate schedules, adjust priorities, and ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Coach employees and create a culture of accountability.
• Drive SQDC performance by monitoring results and reinforcing expectations.
• Identify and resolve production challenges before they impact delivery.
• Collaborate with supervisors, leads, and team members to maintain smooth operations.
• Support training and development to strengthen skills and future leaders.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve productivity.
• Make sound decisions balancing customer needs, quality, and cost.
