Job summary

IPEX in Preston, Idaho, is seeking a Fabricator-C for the day shift. You will learn to set up, operate, and troubleshoot fabricating machines while focusing on safety and quality. The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing plant environment.

The position offers a Monday-Thursday 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM schedule with training provided. Benefits include 401K, health/dental/vision coverage, vacation, and a plant bonus program.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred (training provided).
• Basic math knowledge required.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Self-starter with good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot fabricating machines (training provided).
• Prepare molds and machines for all lines.
• Lift and move large, heavy diameter saws.
• Identify material problems and ensure quality standards.
• Accurately set process parameters.
• Remove scrap materials and maintain orderly storage.
• Perform housekeeping around machines and work areas.
• Inspect and report unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Troubleshoot problems and determine solutions.
• Support Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) efforts.
• Perform other tasks as needed.
