Job summary

Ipsen USA is seeking a Fabrication Mechanic to coordinate and perform setup and operation of fabrication equipment to manufacture metal components in accordance with drawings and schedules. The role requires reading blueprints, selecting fabrication methods, and preparing machines and materials for production.

You will measure parts with precision tools, interpret technical drawings, and work with supervision and quality staff to meet safety and quality standards while maintaining efficient

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, work orders and technical instructions.
• Ability to perform calculations in multiple units of measure.
• Attention to detail to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble, and modify metal components according to blueprints and specs.
• Set up, operate fabrication and machining equipment safely to produce parts within tolerances.
• Meet or exceed production deadlines while upholding quality and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication instructions to ensure accurate parts.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with material handling.
