Job summary

Qualifications

  • Read blueprints, schematics and drawings to determine specifications.
  • Operate Mig, Tig and Arc welding equipment to fuse metal segments.
  • Inspect welds to detect flaws and ensure compliance with specs.
  • Maintain welding equipment to uphold safety standards.
  • Collaborate with team to complete projects on time and per spec.
  • Follow safety protocols and Lean/5S for process improvement.

Welders are responsible for assembling and fabricating metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of welding techniques, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Union Assembler Pay Scale
