Job summary

Hunt Electric Corporation in Hudson, WI is seeking detail-oriented Assemblers to join our manufacturing team. You will read blueprints, gather materials, and build conduit assemblies and control panels alongside Journeyman Electricians.

This Union Local 520 position offers competitive pay from $16.85 to $32.56 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits including employer-paid health, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) with matching, ESOP, and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and follow directions from area Foreman.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Commitment to safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work accurately with attention to detail and to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and follow directions from foreman.
• Gather and lay out materials for assembly.
• Build conduit assemblies to prints and meet delivery deadlines.
• Wire VFDs, motor starters, lighting and control panels.
• Complete panelboards, overhead racks, and threaded rod assemblies.
• Verify work through quality control procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment with 5S/Lean principles.
• Notify supervisor of low inventory or faulty equipment.
• Cut, strip, crimp, and route wires to electrical units.
• Install, mount, and secure electrical parts.

Baer Manufacturing is seeking detail-oriented and experienced Assemblers to join the growing team. Assemblers work alongside Journeyman Electricians and Apprentices assembling electrical products to specifications in a manufacturing facility in Hudson WI. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, an understanding of hand and power tools, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Job Description:

• Local Union 520 Position
• Read and interpret blueprints while receiving work directions and coaching from area Foreman.
• Gather and layout materials necessary for the assembly.
• Build conduit assemblies to prints while achieving on time customer delivery demand
• Wire VFD’s, motor starters, lighting and control panels.
• Complete panelboards, overhead racks, and threaded rod assemblies.
• Verify accuracy of work through quality control procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment focusing on 5s and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Notify supervisor of low inventory or faulty equipment in need of repair.
• Cut, strip, crimp, and route wires to connect electrical units.
• Install, mount, and secure electrical parts

$16.85 to $32.56 Based on experience Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
