Aerotek is seeking a Fabricator/Builder for its Buffalo Grove, IL location. The role involves metal fabrication, carpentry, and moving into canvas print work, with flexible hours after training and overtime on Saturdays when busy.

Responsibilities include reviewing shop drawings, reporting issues to the Fabrication Manager, and ensuring quality with brand standards. Candidates should be able to read blueprints, weld, sew, and use hand/power tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in either metal fabrication or carpentry.
• Proficiency in fabrication, interpreting drawings, and using power and hand tools.
• Blueprint reading and welding skills.
• Experience with sewing.

Join our dynamic team as a Fabricator/Builder in the tradeshow industry. We specialize in creating fixtures and tradeshow pop-ups, starting with metal fabrication and moving on to screen-printing onto canvas for our clients. This role offers flexible hours following training, with opportunities for overtime, including Saturdays when busy.

• Willingness to work extended and weekend shifts, including rotating on-call during busy periods.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean and well-lit facility. Flexible first shift hours are available after training, with shifts ranging from 6am to 5:30pm. Dress appropriately for a hands-on fabrication environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
