Job summary

Southwest Electric Co. is seeking a production/assembler focused on reading blueprints, interpreting BOMs, and following manufacturing instructions. The role requires operating brake press, bandsaw, plasma table, and blast booth with strong safety practices.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related experience or training; military experience is a plus. Candidates must pass drug, physical, and background checks; this is an on-site, full-time position

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing instructions, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
• Safely operate brake press, bandsaw, plasma table, and blast booth.
• Perform tank preparation, including pressure testing and paint prep.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Operate crane, pallet jack, and forklift.
