Job summary

SGB-SMIT USA is seeking a detail-oriented manufacturing associate responsible for inspecting transformers and performing teardown and inspection of cores and coils. You will load coils, stack forms, and repair cores as needed in a hands-on role, with a firm focus on quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or GED) and at least two years of manufacturing experience, with the ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and a nationwide background check.

Qualifications

• Two years manufacturing experience.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• Must complete a nationwide criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection of Transformer.
• Perform teardown and inspection of core and coil assembly.
• Load coils onto core and yoke core form or stack shell form.
• Repair, stack, and re-insulate cores as required.
• Perform jacking of core blocking and insulation.
