Job summary

Southwest Electric Co. is seeking hands-on manufacturing personnel to read blueprints, interpret BOMs, and safely operate essential equipment.

You will work with brake presses, bandsaws, plasma tables, and blast booths, performing tank preparation and paint prep as part of our energy‑sector production lines. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of related experience, and the ability to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Minimum 2 years of related experience or training.
  • Military experience a plus.
  • Ability to pass a drug screen, physical, and nationwide background check.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing instructions, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Safely operate brake press, bandsaw, plasma table, and blast booth.
  • Perform tank preparation, including pressure testing and paint prep.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely.
  • Operate crane, pallet jack, and forklift.
