Job summary

America's Heartland Packing is seeking a Production Supervisor to direct and coordinate a team, fostering a safe work environment and high morale while delivering quality products.

Responsibilities include leading line meetings, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation; using Kronos data to manage crewing; and implementing operational strategies to maximize productivity. Must be able to travel to plant sites as needed and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• 3-5 years proven supervisory experience in FAB.
• Demonstrate knowledge of FAB operations (yield / quality grades, carcass anatomy, etc.)
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Extensive traveling which may include extended stays at plant sites

Responsibilities

• Direct, control, and coordinate a supervisory team to ensure safe, high-m morale and quality production.
• Lead line meetings and supervise training and succession development within area of responsibility.
• Use Kronos reporting to establish crewing levels and manage payroll and staffing.
• Schedule tasks and drive operational strategies to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Enforce SQF compliance, housekeeping, and safety practices; conduct incident investigations; and participate in safety meetings.
