Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Rochester, MN is seeking an Associate Fabricator to fabricate orthoses and prostheses with a focus on fit, function, cosmetics and workmanship. The role provides on-the-job training as well as formal O&P training through LMS and leadership.

You will maintain tools and materials, follow device-specific work instructions, and ensure a safe, clean, and organized work area while adhering to OSHA and HIPAA requirements and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; no experience required.
• Preferred: less than 1 year of related experience working within environments that include: machinery, tools, wood working, design, fabrication, componentry, etc.
• Without diploma/GED, 1 year of related experience working within O&P environments that include: machinery, tools, design, fabrication, componentry, etc.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices, according to Company quality and quantity standards.
• May assist or perform in ordering and receiving and other inventory tasks as assigned.
• Maintain 5s to ensure for a safe, clean and orderly work environment.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA requirements.
• Adhere to HIPPA and other regulatory training issued by Hanger, Inc.
