Qualifications

• The Fabrication Supervisor leads the roller and fabrication team on first shift, ensuring safe, efficient operation of fabrication equipment.
• The role focuses on guiding operators and collaborating with engineering and quality teams to meet production and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the roller and fabrication team on first shift to meet daily production goals safely and efficiently.
• Oversee setup, programming, and operation of fabrication equipment such as press brakes, lasers, punches, and turrets.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality teams to maintain specs, resolve issues, and drive process improvements.
• Ensure operators set up and run brake press machines from brands like Diamond, Triumph, Toyoke, and others.
• Review blueprints to guide fabrication work, verify part accuracy, and assist team members with design requirements.
• Monitor part quality using calipers and micrometers and take corrective action when needed.
• Promote a clean, safe workspace and reinforce housekeeping and SOPs.
• Encourage cross-training so team members operate different machines across the shop.
• Foster clear communication and provide direction, feedback, and support.
• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for process and equipment improvements.
• Support staffing and machine coverage planning to meet production needs.
