Job summary

You will guide junior team members, verify parts meet GD&T specifications, and keep a safe, organized 5S workplace while ensuring quality and on-time production. The role requires prior CNC laser cutting or brake press experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read drawings and work orders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Experience reading drawings, work orders, and GD&T basics.
• Experience mentoring or leading others in a fabrication setting.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting equipment for sheet metal and tubing.
• Set up and operate CNC press brake and other fabrication machinery as trained.
• Read and interpret work orders, drawings, and GD&T requirements.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Mentor junior personnel in the fabrication shop and ensure safety.
• Maintain organized 5S work area and support material handling.
• Troubleshoot basic machine issues and escalate complex problems.
