Job summary

Harmon, Inc. is seeking a full-time assembler for metal and glass fabrications. You will read shop drawings, load materials, and assemble window framing per work orders using hand and power tools.

You’ll inspect frames before shipment and help manage inventory while adhering to 5S and continuous improvement practices. The role requires basic math and communication skills, with 10-hour shifts Monday–Thursday and overtime available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years related experience or equivalent.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Curtain wall experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute to a safe and enjoyable work environment.
• Able to walk, bend, twist, squat and climb occasionally.
• Push/pull and lift 30–60 lbs as needed.
• Interpret fabrication drawings and translate into CNC commands.

Responsibilities

• Read shop drawings and blueprints.
• Load and unload trucks by hand, forklift, and overhead crane.
• Cut, fabricate, and assemble window framing per work order using hand/power tools.
• Inspect and package frames prior to shipment.
• Stage products, manage inventory, and handle insulated glass units; meet daily goals.
• Participate in 5S and maintain a clean, organized work area with continuous improvement.
