Job summary

Gilder Search Group is seeking an Assembly Team Member to cut, fabricate, and build metal and glass window frames using hand and power tools. You will read basic shop drawings and blueprints to ensure parts are built correctly.

You will also operate equipment to load and unload materials, inspect finished frames, package them for shipping, and keep the work area safe and organized. This role offers a 10-hour shift schedule with Fridays off and potential overtime.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1–2 years factory/assembly/shop experience.
  • Ability to read basic instructions, do simple math, and use a computer.
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat, and lift 30–60 lbs.
  • Basic CNC exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble metal and glass window frames using hand and power tools.
  • Follow shop drawings and blueprints to build parts correctly.
  • Load and unload materials with forklifts or by hand.
  • Inspect finished frames, package them for shipping, and stage inventory.
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.

Assembly Team Member

What You'll Do
  • Assemble Products: Cut, fabricate, and build metal and glass window frames using hand and power tools.

  • Read Drawings: Follow basic shop drawings and blueprints to build parts correctly.

  • Operate Equipment: Load and unload materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, or by hand.

  • Pack & Move: Inspect finished frames, package them for shipping, stage inventory, and handle glass safely.

  • Clean & Organize: Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe every day.

Schedule & Hours
  • Shift: 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday (1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM).

  • 3-Day Weekends: Enjoy Fridays off, with overtime available!

What You Need
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).

  • 1–2 years of basic factory, assembly, or shop experience.

  • Ability to read basic instructions, do simple math, and use a computer.

  • Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat, and lift 30 to 60 lbs.

  • Basic CNC machine experience or willingness to follow machine instructions is a plus.
