Job summary

Harmon, Inc. in Ohio seeks a full-time team member to fabricate, assemble, and package window framing materials. You will read shop drawings, operate tools, load and unload, and contribute to 5S and continuous improvement.

Candidates should have a high school diploma (preferred), 1–2 years related experience, basic math and computer skills, and be able to lift 30–60 pounds while working in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• 1–2 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills
• Effective communication skills
• Curtain wall industry experience highly preferred
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Contribute to a safe & enjoyable work environment
• Able to push, pull, and lift between 30 and 60 pounds
• Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings
• Translate instructions into computer commands for CNC machines

Responsibilities

• Read shop drawings and blueprints to guide fabrication and assembly
• Load and off-load trucks by hand, forklift, and overhead crane
• Cut, fabricate, and assemble window framing material per work orders using hand tools
• Inspect and package frames prior to shipment
• Stage products, manage inventory, and handle insulated glass units
• Establish daily productivity goals and contribute to 5S organization
