FMI is looking to add an assembler to our growing team. We strive for quality and attention to detail in everything we do.

Job Purpose

You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product. You will use your hands or machines to do the job with greater precision.

You must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, drawings, schematics etc. and follow them with precision is extremely important.

The goal is to produce complex outputs by putting together smaller components.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Basic sheet metal skills including deburring, spot facing, riveting, and trim panels
• Assembling various parts based on work orders
• Organizing supplies and area
• Pulling parts for delivery and packaging based on counts
• Willingness to operate a forklift/training for forklift
• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
• Other job duties as required

Working Conditions

This job operates in a fabrication shop and may be completed in a confined area subject to loud noise. This job requires standing for a majority of the day. Full time work and overtime is expected per business needs.
