Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. seeks an experienced Machine Shop Fabrication Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our Houston-area facility.

You will lead production personnel, coordinate machining and fabrication activities, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery of components. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with machining equipment, metal fabrication, and reading engineering drawings, with a proven ability to drive continuous improvement and mentor a team in an industrial

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with technical machining training advantageous.
• Experience supervising CNC machines, mills, lathes, and general machine shop equipment is preferred.
• Proven ability to supervise and train staff, ensure safety, quality, and on-time production.

Responsibilities

• Supervise machine shop and fabrication personnel to maintain productivity and safety.
• Assign daily work based on skills, equipment, and priorities.
• Monitor schedules, adjust staffing, and meet deadlines.
• Oversee setup, operation, and safe use of machine tools.
• Ensure work conforms to drawings, specs, and quality standards.
• Interpret drawings and guide production with tolerances.
• Coordinate with other departments to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain records of output, maintenance, and performance.
