Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced foreman to lead the xPL offsite fabrication shop in Decatur, AL. You will supervise trade shop employees, subcontractors and vendors to plan, coordinate, and execute fabrication work while controlling quality, cost, and safety compliance.

You will collaborate with project teams to develop and maintain schedules, review drawings and specifications, and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.

Qualificações

• Minimum 7 years of experience in metal fabrication or related field.
• At least 1 year in foreman, team lead, or supervisory role.
• OSHA 30-hour certification required or willingness to pursue.
• Ability to read, interpret construction documents, drawings, specs, and schedules.
• Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Function as working Crew Leader to supervise fabrication shop staff.
• Lead safety and quality programs; enforce EH&S standards.
• Coordinate with project team on material/equipment deliveries and scheduling.
• Review plans, plan ahead for fabrication shop construction and logistics.
• Develop crew work schedules and delegate tasks to ensure on-time completion.
• Engage with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure scope comprehension and progress.
• Ensure conformance with contract documents and resolve issues with project team.
