Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fabrication shop operations with focus on shipping & receiving.
• Experience leading foreman or supervisory teams in a fabrication/shop environment.
• OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to pursue.
• Ability to read construction documents, plans, and schedules to coordinate work.

Responsibilities

• Manage, plan, organize, and supervise fabrication shop operations focused on shipping & receiving.
• Lead and direct work of shop employees, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Schedule deliveries, monitor quality of work, and ensure adherence to budget and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with project team to plan material/equipment deliveries and shop workflows.
• Review and verify subcontractor/supplier materials and quantities; monitor NCRs and quality issues.
• Develop shop work schedules, assign crew tasks, and track progress.
• Ensure compliance with project documents, drawings, specs, and sequences.
• Collaborate with EH&S and QC teams to uphold safety and quality programs.
