Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an Experienced Superintendent for the xPL Offsite division, overseeing staff, trades, and suppliers on Decatur-area projects. You will ensure safety, schedule alignment, and quality, while guiding production and labor to meet contract requirements.

Responsibilities include developing JHAs, coordinating with forepersons, and driving continuous improvement. Travel up to 20% may be required; a strong background in EH&S, contract documents, and field leadership

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, architecture, construction management, building construction, or related field; 3+ years as Superintendent or related experience.
In-depth knowledge of manufacturing means, methods, scheduling and cost control, and subcontract documents.
Knowledge of EH&S practices and ability to read contracts, drawings, and specifications.
Proven leadership skills with ability to manage stakeholders and drive results.

Responsibilities

Plan, forecast, and lead work of staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet safety, schedule, quality, and production goals.
Oversee and implement planned work ensuring adherence to contracted scope.
Develop JHAs with forepersons to enable daily pre-task planning.
Schedule coordination with production managers to integrate manufacturing facility activities.
Monitor quantities, progress, and procurement; report findings in production meetings.
Mentor forepersons and support career development.
