Schneider Electric in El Paso, TX seeks a Fabrication Quality Engineer to drive quality excellence across fabrication operations, implementing robust process controls and leading continuous improvement initiatives.

You will partner with manufacturing teams across punching, bending, welding, paint line, powder coating, epoxy finishing, and assembly to improve quality performance, reduce defects, and increase process capability.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Quality/Manufacturing/Process Engineering in fabrication or metal manufacturing.
• Experience supporting fabrication operations incl metal punching, bending, welding, paint line, powder coating, epoxy finishing, and assembly.
• Understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, process controls, inspection methods, and Cp/Cpk.
• Experience applying PFMEA, Control Plans, SPC in manufacturing.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

• Lead quality for fabrication processes including punching, bending, welding, paint line, powder coating, epoxy finishing, and assembly.
• Lead RCA activities and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Improve metrics like RPN, FFR, MDR, CoPQ through data-driven actions.
• Strengthen process controls and ensure QMS compliance.
• Develop PFMEAs, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, and Standard Work.
• Lead Cp/Cpk studies to reduce variation and improve process performance.
• Support new product introductions, process changes, and validation activities.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma with cross-functional teams.
• Promote a quality culture on the shop floor.
