Job summary

Schneider Electric in El Paso, TX seeks a Production Manufacturing Engineer to drive ETO standard processes and continuous improvement in methods and maintenance. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance Manager and lead cross-functional optimization efforts to improve line efficiency and production flow.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and 3+ years in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on lean methods, project delivery, and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in Manufacturing Engineering or similar role.
• Ability to define and deploy standard processes across plants.

Responsibilities

• Implement ETO standard processes for Methods and Maintenance in the plant.
• Develop and maintain standards with defined performance targets for continuous improvement.
• Establish Methods and Maintenance as a structured management system in the plant.
• Define annual improvement objectives with the Plant GM and monitor progress.
• Implement operational tools and methodologies for efficient, reliable manufacturing.
• Monitor KPIs: productivity, plant efficiency, capacity utilization, CAMA.
• Lead the Methods and Maintenance transformation plan to achieve results.
• Prioritize critical improvement initiatives and maintain momentum.
• Support the Methods/Maintenance Manager in improvements.
• Lead Line Architecture Design Methodology (LADM) to optimize flow and resource use.
• Determine standard manufacturing times using work measurement and time studies.
