Ideal candidates have a strong quality/industrial engineering background, familiarity with PFMEA, control plans, 8D, and ISO, and the ability to collaborate across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
• Strong Quality, Industrial and/or Manufacturing Engineering background.
• Application of Lean and Six Sigma techniques, statistical methods.
• Mechanical aptitude highly desired.
• Ability to lead and interact with others in a collaborative environment.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools, 5S, 8D, Kaizen events, Six Sigma tools, PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow, Process Auditing, Process Capability analysis, ISO, Poka Yoke design desired.

Responsibilities

• Implementing and sustaining Lean and Six Sigma concepts with cross-functional teams.
• Developing PFMEAs, Control Plans and identifying improvements in tooling and processes.
• Maintain knowledge of latest methods and technologies and their applicability to manufacturing operations.
• Monitor and report key metrics and develop improvement plans.
• Conduct continual improvement activities (5S, SPS, Six Sigma, ISO) to enhance the quality system.
• Ensure action items from SPS and ISO audits are completed timely.
• Assist Quality Manager with establishing and maintaining quality management systems.
• Lead Digital Quality implementation within the plant.
• Prepare Pareto charts and 8D reports as required.
• Contribute to improving customer satisfaction and quality goals through projects and processes.
