Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage complex customer orders from start to finish through final resolution.
• Develop customer quotes including loose material, stocklisting, fabrication, and related requirements.
• Determine margins, freight costs, pipe costs, and other financial components affecting branch profitability.
• Oversee daily production meetings, including Load Schedule, reviewing backorders and truck schedules with facility managers.
• Negotiate pricing and material deadlines to support customer and business requirements.
• Schedule product shipments based on customer requirements and costs to the branch.
• Manage activities for establishing and maintaining customer contract pricing.
• Serve as the primary branch contact for customers assigned by the supervisor.
• Follow up on lost quotes and assist Customer Service Representatives with resolving issues.
• Handle complex customer problem resolution and respond when CSRs are unavailable.
• Identify and report process strengths and deficiencies impacting service levels or profitability.
• Gather and report information to Branch or Regional Operations Manager.
• Supervise administrative/Customer Service staff, schedule workloads, and monitor time/attendance.
• Ensure staff follow company policies and procedures.
• Communicate directives to improve service levels and conduct team meetings.
• Evaluate performance using metrics and help employees improve.
• Provide leadership and a service-oriented environment.
• Perform Operations Manager duties in their absence.
