Qualifications

• High school diploma and 6–9 years metal fabrication experience or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
• Experience with punching, laser cutting, plasma-cutting, burning, forming, welding, machining, and painting.
• Bachelor's or associate degree preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Computer literacy is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of production employees directly or through Team-leaders.
• Maintains team boards with the support of Team-Leads and ensures they are up to date daily.
• Implements discipline per company handbook policies re attendance and conduct.
• Coordinates production with Sales to inform of reduced schedules due to scrap.
• Coordinates production with Engineering to drive process improvements and track ideas.
• Coordinates production with Quality to issue hold-tags and clarify inspection forms.
• Coordinates production with Purchasing to track shortages and expedite requests/MROs.
• Coordinates production with Maintenance to review down times and preventative maintenance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
