Job summary

ASGCO® “Complete Conveyor Solutions” in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Plant Manager to lead daily plant operations, from sales order entry through manufacturing, delivery, and logistics. You will drive safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency while reducing costs across regional teams.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing leadership, strong knowledge of lean practices, and expertise in production management and ERP systems. Multilingual English/Spanish is a plus; relocation not specified.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial or related field is required.
7+ years in manufacturing leadership at a High Mix - Low Volume site.
In-depth knowledge of production management, lean manufacturing, and quality control systems.
Experience with corrugate, foam, and crating industry is a plus.
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
Increase production, asset capacity, and flexibility while minimizing costs.
Be responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time delivery.
Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results.
Implement strategies aligned with initiatives and provide direction and focus.
Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions.
Develop plant staff through recruitment and HR collaboration.
Generate continuous improvement plans through data analysis to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Commit to plant safety procedures and OSHA compliance.
