Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in driver, operations, distribution or quality roles
• At least 3 years of experience leading and developing employees
• Willingness to work in a unionized environment

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for a team of entry-level production employees to meet customer demand
• Coordinate daily production activities and distribution requirements, including local delivery routes and shuttle scheduling
• Lead reliability, compliance, quality, and safety initiatives to meet governmental and environmental regulations; coordinate safety training
• Monitor production performance and manpower levels to maintain efficiency and anticipate problems
• Identify operational challenges and lead improvements in production processes, shift scheduling, and training
• Manage equipment and product quality issues; maintain inventory; support 5S and Lean projects and hazardous waste activities
