Job summary

Ohio Gratings, Inc. Alliance Site is seeking a Plant Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations and continuous improvement.

You will drive safety, oversee production to meet KPIs, and partner with HR, Supply Chain, Engineering, Safety and Quality to achieve plant objectives. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5+ years of supervisory manufacturing experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a track record in lean and Kaizen practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of direct manufacturing and supervisory experience.
• Strong communication, organizational and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety culture and ensure production meets KPI targets.
• Oversee production processes and optimize performance metrics.
• Lead and develop 4–8 direct reports through leadership and coaching.
• Coordinate with HR, Supply Chain, Engineering, Safety and Quality.
• Administer wage/performance systems and labor relations as needed.
• Represent plant in meetings and meet operating plan objectives.
