Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking an experienced Base Fabrication & Paint Manager to oversee daily operations in the base fabrication and paint departments.

You will lead production personnel, coordinate labor and materials, and ensure welded structures meet drawings, specifications, and client expectations. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in structural steel fabrication and industrial paint operations, with a proven ability to manage multiple processes, drive efficiency, maintain a safe

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading fabrication and paint operations in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read blueprints, welding and fabrication drawings, and project specifications.
• Strong track record of delivering safe, on-time production while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for base fabrication and paint departments.
• Supervise and develop supervisors, leads, fabricators, welders, and painters.
• Oversee daily fabrication and paint operations to meet schedules and quality requirements.
• Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment to optimize productivity.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental policies.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Procurement to resolve issues.
