Job summary

KI, a world class supplier of innovative furniture solutions, seeks a Fabrication Operator/Bender Tender for its Green Bay facility on the 3rd shift. You will tend auto tube benders across multiple cells and help direct fabrication cell technicians.

Responsibilities include operating and editing tube bending equipment, maintaining weld quality, and following production schedules. A High School diploma is preferred, with a willingness to learn and lead when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Experience with fabrication or metalworking is a plus.
• Ability to read basic measurements and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate, edit and program tube auto bending equipment in multiple cells.
• Maintain high levels of quality and ensure product is welded properly.
• Operation of all fabrication equipment in the cell (robotic welders, hydraulic banks, drill presses, tube benders).
• Follow production schedules and determine what should run.
• Successfully hand weld product based on production schedule needs.

Job Duties:

The Fabrication Operator/Bender Tender is responsible for tending to auto tube benders across multiple fabrication cells and operating all other fabrication equipment in the cell. In addition, individuals in this role will assist in providing direction to fabrication cell technicians.

• Required to operate, edit and program tube auto bending equipment in multiple cells
• Maintain high levels of quality and ensure product is welded properly
• Operation of all fabrication equipment in the cell (robotic welders, hydraulic banks, drill presses, tube benders)
• Follow production schedules and determine what should run
• Successfully hand weld product based on production schedule needs

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment
• Activities including standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending

• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift:

• This is a 3rd Shift position
• Hours are 10pm-6am, Sunday Night-Friday Morning
• Shift premium of $3.00/hour
• Overtime during busy season
