Job summary

KI is seeking a dedicated Shear Operator for our Green Bay manufacturing facility on the 3rd shift. You will perform daily machine duties, inspect equipment, cut materials, change blades, and maintain safety standards.

Shift runs 10pm–6am Sunday night to Friday morning with a $3.00/hour shift differential and a $1.00/hour raise within the first year. KI offers employee ownership and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Value added skills include being mechanically inclined with manufacturing experience, communication skills, computer knowledge, willingness to learn, ability to measure with the decimal system, and ability to read KI print.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily, safety inspections of the shear and end finisher.
• Cut the correct materials according to shop orders.
• Change blades as necessary.
• Change and adjust machines based on tubing diameter and length.
• Transport bundles of steel tubing utilizing a hoist system.
• Perform multiple tasks to ISO Quality Standards.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Description

KI, a world class supplier of innovative and award-winning furniture solutions for business, educational, and healthcare environments, is seeking a full-time Shear Operator to join our Green Bay manufacturing facility on our 3rd shift. 3rd shift individuals receive an hourly shift differential of $3.00. A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Job Duties

Minimum Requirements

Shift

• This is a 3rd Shift position
• Hours are 10pm – 6am Sunday night - Friday Morning
• Shift premium of $3.00/hourOvertime during busy season
