Job summary

KI in Green Bay is seeking a full-time Bender Operator for the 3rd shift to support the metal fabrication cell at our Green Bay facility.

Operate CNC bending equipment, perform changeovers, ensure quality with bend fixtures, read shop orders, and assist with other fabrication equipment as needed. Overtime during busy season and a $3.00/hour shift premium apply.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with previous manufacturing experience, but not required

Responsibilities

A $1.00/hour raise is also given within the first year of employment.

Job Duties

The Bender Operator technician operates equipment which manufactures the metal fabricated frame for product being produced. This position is also responsible for:

• Operate, Edit, and Program CNC Tube or Wire bending equipment
• Conduct changeovers on benders
• Use of bend check fixtures to ensure quality
• Read and understand shop orders
• Provide a high-quality product in a timely manner to the internal customer

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred

Physical Requirements

• Working in areas where it can get warm
• Working in a smoke free environment

• Willingness to assist in any given area of the plant if your area is slow

Shift

• This is a 3rd Shift position
• Hours are 10pm-6am Sunday night – Friday Morning
• Shift premium of $3.00/hour
• Overtime during busy season
