Job summary

Ipsen International Inc is seeking a capable manufacturing employee for 1st shift (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM) to lay out work, set up equipment, and fabricate parts per design specs. The role emphasizes quality, efficiency, and safety in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities include meeting deadlines, producing parts to standards, and learning multiple machines such as shear, riveter, drill press, and more. Forklift and overhead crane certification are provided as growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Degree or GED equivalent.
• Solid work history or school/academic record.
• Sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and comprehend all forms of written and/or verbal instructions including blueprints.
• Learn to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers and colleagues.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and measurements.
• Learn and become certified to use Fork lift and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed deadlines for assigned tasks.
• Produce parts that meet quality standards as directed by supervisor/inspector.
• Train to perform set ups and operation of listed machinery.
• Trouble-shoot machine problems and perform preventative maintenance.
• May be moved and cross trained on several pieces of equipment to develop manufacturing concepts.
