Gradian Thermal Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor – Fabrication for the Dayton, MN facility. You will lead a team of electricians and maintenance technicians, ensuring safe, reliable operation of fiber lasers, press brakes, copper fabrication tools, and related equipment.

You’ll diagnose complex failures and drive proactive reliability, while coordinating with engineering and production leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification preferred.
• 5+ years hands-on industrial maintenance in CNC/fabrication equipment.
• 2+ years in a lead or supervisory maintenance role.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting including panel/controls wiring.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems.
• Experience with maintenance management systems for work orders/PMs.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and electrical codes (NEC/NFPA 70E).

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on technical leadership to electricians/technicians, prioritizing daily work based on maintenance orders.
• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment failures on laser, press brake, copper fabrication lines to restore production.
• Develop and mature a preventive maintenance program with CI Manager.
• Manage spare parts inventory for long-lead components to prevent downtimes.
• Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for specialized service and repairs.
• Ensure codes compliance (NEC/NFPA 70E) and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Train and mentor the maintenance team to reduce single points of failure.
• Triage maintenance requests to balance urgency with planned work.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS.
• Support root cause analysis with Engineering/Production leadership.
• Recommend capital investments for replacements or upgrades.
