Job summary

Gradian Thermal Solutions in Dayton, MN is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor – Fabrication to lead a team of electricians and technicians and keep laser, press brake, and copper fabrication lines running safely and at full capacity.

You will diagnose complex equipment issues, implement preventive maintenance, manage spares, and partner with manufacturing engineering to improve reliability and uptime while ensuring compliance with NEC/NFPA 70E.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on industrial maintenance experience on CNC or fabrication equipment.
• 2+ years in a lead or supervisory maintenance capacity.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership to electricians and maintenance technicians.
• Diagnose and resolve complex equipment failures on lasers, presses, and related lines.
• Develop and mature a preventive maintenance program to reduce downtime.
• Manage spare parts inventory for critical equipment.
• Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for specialized service and repairs.
• Enforce electrical codes and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Train and mentor staff to eliminate single points of failure.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records in the CMMS.
• Collaborate on root cause analysis and capital investment decisions.
