The hourly rate starts at $21, with emphasis on safety and quality in a fast-paced shop environment. The candidate will perform set-up, operate machines, complete paperwork, and train new operators while adhering to TPM and 5S+ practices and company safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Internet) are required.
• No immigration sponsorship is offered for this position and relocation benefits are not provided.
• Candidates within 50 miles of Arden, NC will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety and hygiene regulations.
• Receive and understand work assignments from the supervisor.
• Set up operation on PLC, analog, or manual controlled machines.
• Operate equipment to produce parts and interpret work orders/drawings.
• Complete paperwork and system transactions, maintain tools and materials.
• Inspect final components against specifications and perform operator maintenance.
• Report issues and submit maintenance work orders for equipment.
• Provide on-the-job training for new operators and perform TPM/5S+ daily.
• Complete any other tasks assigned by management or leads.
