Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division in Arden, NC seeks a FAB Machine Operator: Wire CoE - 1st Shift to perform fabrication operations using metal processing machinery. The hourly rate is $21 per hour, with salaries based on candidate skills and market considerations.

The role requires reading blueprints, basic computer skills, and a commitment to safety and quality in a fast-paced fabrication environment. Local candidates within 50 miles are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word), Internet, etc.
• Willing to work 1st shift and within a 50-mile radius of Arden, NC.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration for this position; must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Preferred: Machining certificate; experience in fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial set-up for PLC, Analog, or Manual controlled machines.
• Operate equipment to produce parts and inspect final components.
• Interpret work orders, Kanban cards, and drawings; complete necessary paperwork.
• Maintain tools, equipment and materials for continuous operation; perform TPM and 5S+ daily.
• Provide on-the-job training for new Operators.
