Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking fabrication technicians to support Brake Presses, Punch Turrets, and Automated Lasers. The role involves unloading, loading materials, assisting operators, and helping with setup of tooling and dies in a busy fabrication environment.

Applicants should be able to read tape measures and blueprints, understand safety procedures, and lift/move materials as required. This is an on-site manufacturing position with prescreen assessments and safety-focused responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Accurate reading of tape measures, gauges, and other test equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and equipment handling.
• Ability to lift and move materials within safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Unload/load Brake Presses; assist operator, set up tooling and dies.
• Unload/load Punch Turrets; assist operator, ensure proper labeling.
• Unload/load Automated Lasers; assist operator, ensure proper labeling.
