Johnson Controls, Inc. / Silent-Aire division is seeking a Basic Machine Helper in Gilbert, AZ to support brake presses, punch turrets, and automated laser machines. Responsibilities include setting up, loading, unloading materials, and general upkeep to ensure smooth production processes.

Starting pay is $19/hour. The role requires reading tape measures, basic mechanical aptitude, ability to follow safety procedures, and basic data entry.

Qualifications

• Accurate reading of tape measures, gauges, and other test equipment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or blueprints (preferred).
• Basic understanding of safety procedures and equipment handling.
• Ability to lift and move materials within safety guidelines.
• Basic computer/math skills.

Responsabilités

• Unload/load materials for Brake Presses and assist the operator.
• Support setup of tooling and dies; maintain cleanliness around the machine area.
• Unload/load materials and assist the operator for Punch Turrets.
• Ensure proper labeling and cleanliness around the machine area; perform data entry.
• Unload/load materials and assist the operator for Automated Lasers.
• Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
