Job summary

Apache Workforce LLC in Houston, TX is seeking dependable Fabrication Helpers to support our fabrication team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role assists Fitters, Welders, and Supervisors with fabrication and assembly while maintaining a safe, organized workplace.

You will review work orders, prepare materials, operate basic fabrication tools, read blueprints, and follow 5S and OSHA safety policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of fabrication experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure and use basic measuring tools.
• Experience operating a forklift and overhead crane.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Review work assignments and gather required tools and materials.
• Assist Fitters, Welders, and Supervisors with fabrication operations.
• Prepare raw materials by cleaning, measuring, and staging materials for production.
• Operate basic fabrication tools and equipment under supervision.
• Follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to support fabrication activities.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Assist with moving, lifting, and positioning materials and fabricated components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Participate in safety meetings and training programs.
• Report safety concerns and hazards to supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned
