Job summary

Apache Workforce in Houston, TX is seeking experienced Pipefitters and Boilermakers for industrial manufacturing and fabrication opportunities in the Houston area. The role involves layout, fabrication, assembly, and installation of industrial piping systems, with carbon steel and stainless steel, reading drawings and P&IDs, and using pipe-fitting tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints, piping drawings, isometrics, and P&IDs.
• Familiarity with pipe schedules, materials, fittings, and fabrication practices.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow blueprints, piping isometrics, P&IDs, and work instructions.
• Lay out, measure, fabricate, assemble, and install industrial piping systems.
• Measure, cut, thread, bevel, and bend pipe using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Fit and assemble carbon steel, stainless steel, and other piping materials.
• Install tubing, valves, fittings, hangers, brackets, and pipe supports.
• Operate pipe-cutting, threading, and bending equipment as required.
• Perform basic MIG welding for pipe supports and fabrication tasks when needed.
• Check measurements, alignment, fit-up, and completed work for accuracy.
• Assist with material tracking and communicate material needs to the appropriate team members.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in an organized condition.
• Follow established safety, quality, and housekeeping procedures.
• Participate in required safety and job-related training.
