Job summary

Siemens Mobility in Roebuck, SC is seeking a General Laborer Level 2 for our Fabrication team. The role involves moving material, taping, peeling, loading, unloading, and using various hand and powered tools on production lines.

The position runs 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM with an hourly rate of $20.50 plus a $1.25 shift differential. Candidates must be able to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for long periods, and be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 40 lbs and sustained standing/kneeling.
• Authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive assembly operations placing parts in specified relationships.
• Bolt, screw or fasten parts using hand or powered tools.
• Test and adjust as needed; report quality or safety issues.
• Work in a team, multi-task and train cross-functionally as required.
• Follow supervisor directions and perform other tasks as needed.

We are looking for General Laborer Level 2 to join our Fabrication team! This position will be based at ourRoebuck, SCsite.

This position could be working with moving material, taping, peeling, loading, unloading, use of mechanical tools, different measurement tools and assembly areas.

Shift Hours:

10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Hourly Rate:

$20.50 + $1.25 Shift Differential

You will have impact if you have the following minimum qualifications:

Basic Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• In this role, you must be able to meet the physical requirements, which include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Ability to complete a 1/4 mile walk within 7 minutes, lift weights up to 40 lbs., sustain kneeling & standing for up to 30 minutes and perform push & pull tasks with a least 87 lb. force.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.

• Experience in Manufacturing

• Detect, report and document unusual conditions, defective material or specific problems related to quality, safety and delivery.
• Work in a team, multi-task, cross-train and perform within production requirements as required.
• Perform other work per Supervisor's direction.

The pay for this position is $20.50 per hour, plus an additional $1.25 shift differential. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
