Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Fabrication Operator I for the 1st Shift in Fort Worth, TX. The role focuses on setting up and operating machinery, reading blueprints, and maintaining quality throughout production.

You will program parts, verify measurements, and assist in finishing tasks such as drilling and deburring while keeping safety and efficiency at the forefront.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
• 2nd item: capable of lifting 75 lbs and moving heavy materials.
• Proficient in coordinating hand/arm movements to grasp and move objects.
• Flexible to stoop, bend, and squat.
• Mechanical proficiency and basic computer skills to operate industrial machinery.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machinery to ensure production efficiency.
• Program parts and conduct quality checks; read blueprints.
• Assist finishing operations such as drilling, tapping, and deburring.
• Perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on processing equipment.
• Organize and verify counts of materials with Purchasing and Shipping.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and support supervision.

Shift: 1st Shift

Hourly Rate: $18.89 - $25.62

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English Language.
• Capability to reach, grasp, lift 75lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material.
• Proficiency in coordinating movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
• Flexibility to be able to stoop, bend, and squat.
• Mechanical proficiency and skill along with computer competency and willingness to operate industrial machinery.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
• Prior experience as a foreman or warehouse trainer

• Programming parts, conducting quality checks, and reading blueprints.
• Assisting in finishing operations, including drilling, tapping, and deburring.

• Organizing, identifying, and verifying counts of materials in collaboration with Purchasing and Shipping departments.
• Maintaining clean and organized work areas and supporting additional duties as assigned by Supervision.

The pay range for this position is $18.89 - $25.62 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
