Siemens Mobility in New Castle, Delaware is seeking a motivated Material Handler to support our distribution center operations. This hands-on warehouse role involves receiving, organizing, staging, and moving materials that keep rail and transportation solutions moving for our customers and operations daily.

You will work with a collaborative Supply Chain team, maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, and follow safety protocols to ensure a safe, productive work environment.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, and order pickers with certifications preferred.

Join Siemens Mobility as a Material Handler and play a key role in keeping critical rail and transportation solutions moving. You’ll work as part of a collaborative Supply Chain team, helping maintain accurate inventory and ensuring orders are ready to move efficiently from our Distribution Center in New Castle, Delaware. What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Partner with the Warehouse team and cross-functional departments to keep daily operations running smoothly.
  • Receive, organize, stage, and kit materials to support customer orders and production needs.
  • Prepare and ship materials through LTL and freight carriers with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support inventory accuracy through cycle counts, discrepancy resolution, and aftermarket material processing.
  • Maintain a safe, organized work environment by following safety protocols and emergency procedures.

To thrive in this role, you have:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, and carrier coordination
  • Familiarity with SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, and order pickers (certifications preferred)
Physical Demands/Facility Information
  • Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; climb, crawl in tight spaces or balance; talk and hear.
  • Lift and move no more than 40 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 per hour. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
