Job summary

Hydro Extrusions North America is seeking a production worker in Delhi, LA, US to operate hand tools, assist with assembly tasks, and ensure quality through visual inspections. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, reading a tape measure, and working on a fast-paced schedule.

The starting pay is $17.42 per hour, with day shift from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Education of a high school diploma or GED is preferred, with 6 months manufacturing experience advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Ability to lift heavy items (minimum of 50 lbs.) is required.
  • Must be able to read a tape measure and use a calculator.

Responsibilities

  • Operate various tools, including hammers, mallets, clamps, hand drills, and deburring tools.
  • Assist with lifting and stacking desired products at a fast pace, through the entire work schedule.
  • Pull identified finished goods from the yard to fulfill packing lists.
  • Visually inspect materials for missed welds, incomplete cleaning, and incorrect sizes from the welding team.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the finished goods storage area.
  • Operate various punch presses to process parts for the Shipping Department.
  • Cut wooden battens or blocks for the Shipping Department as needed.
