Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, CPA certification and 2–5 years work experience preferably as an auditor in a public accounting firm.
• Strong technical writing and presentation skills.
• A thorough understanding of US GAAP.
• Exposure or interest in revenue recognition, share-based payments, financial asset transfers such as securitizations and factoring agreements, consolidations and equity method accounting.
• Exposure to strategic transactions, such as business combinations, M&A and joint ventures.
• An understanding of financial services industry, as well as commonly used terminology, processes and tools.
• A proven record of excellence when managing, mentoring and improving a team of high-performing colleagues.
• The confidence to research and resolve emerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of key complex accounting areas and use that knowledge to provide tailored client solutions.
• Collaborate with FAAS and across multiple service lines to deliver integrated insights.
• Build relationships with clients and travel to meet key contacts.
• Challenge existing practices to help clients resolve complex issues.
