Job summary

RTX (Pratt & Whitney) is seeking a Customer Support Engineer (CSE) to support development and maintenance of F135 Joint Technical Data engine manuals. You will work with engineering teams, customers, and vendors to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of technical data supporting unit and depot maintenance.

The role focuses on sustaining engine program readiness, driving process improvements, and collaborating across internal teams and external partners. Onsite duties and travel may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Advanced degree in related field preferred.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical data inquiries and provide timely technical data updates to support maintenance and operations on the F135 engine.
• Drive customer satisfaction by influencing the JTD through process improvements and incorporation of engineering requirements.
• Review limits incorporation documents and engineering changes from a sustainment perspective.
• Influence effective solutions for implementation plans for new configurations.
• Support depot and unit-level maintenance increased capability.
• Review Joint Technical Data change requests, evaluating each request based on technical expertise and sustainment process knowledge.
• Perform Source Data authoring functions including creation of source data, quality reviews, workflow resolutions, task assignments, and resolution of customer comments.
• Collaborate with internal engineering groups, customers, vendors, and CSEs located at Depot & Unit sites to resolve technical issues and ensure optimal instruction for JTD.
